Mid-Century Modern French Ceramic Platter by Albert Thiry, 1960s, era Blin One beautiful glazed ceramic platter with an engraved and hand-painted blue thistle flower bud. We find the vocabulary of preference of the ceramist: a chalky white background, both bright and neutral to highlight the blue flower and foliage, the edge is also engraved with decorative motifs.
