Iwan Kulik studied interior design and painting at the Institute of Arts in Kharkiv. He came to Poland in 1990 and settled down in Warsaw. His first solo exhibition took place in Polish Seym in 1991. Since then, Kulik has held dozens of exhibitions in Warsaw, Łódź, Sopot and Vienna. In 2001, he was asked by a famous Italian vineyard Cormos, to design a label for Vino della Pace. Oil paintings are the most dominant in his artistic output. His paintings are usually painted in thematic series. Some of them are inspired by great historical figures and personas from art history.
