This elegant full length green silk chiffon Wayne Clark dress was purchased at the couture boutique Harriet Kassman in Washington DC. The dress is strapless with a ruched bodice and it comes with a ruffled shawl that can be worn in a number of different ways. You can probably find other ways to make the shawl completely change the look of the dress, or you can wear it without! We especially love the center ruffling that defines the back of the skirt. Wayne Clark is a Canadian designer who has dressed many celebrities including Jane Fonda, Cindy Crawford, Rihanna, Sarah Polley and Vivica A. Fox. 1960s Elegant Moroccan caftan emerald green and gold lame metallic brocade, This is an exceptional example of Moroccan fashion, Handcrafted in Morocco and tailored for a relaxed fit with wide sleeves, it is made in the traditional form of a Vintage Moroccan kaftan using metallic brocade fabric. It is trimmed in handcrafted “passementerie”. The neckline does up with ball shaped buttons and loops. The body of the garment is loose fitting and flares to the bottom. The sleeves are somewhat bell shaped with an open cuff that does up with metallic gold buttons. The fabric is a rich looking metallic thread blend brocade. This long maxi dress kaftan is embroidered and embellished entirely by hand with detailing around neckline, shoulders and cuffs. One of a kind evening Moroccan Middle Eastern gown.
