Chinoiserie orange enameled box by Louis Kuppenheim. Outstanding rare box, created during the art deco period in the city of Pforzheim Germany, back in the late 1930. This wonderful box is closely to mint condition, designed with cushioned shapes and chinoiserie patterns at the Louis Kuppenheim silversmith workshop. Crafted in solid .935/.999 silver, with gilt interiors and embellished with chiseled borders. Has an exceptional workmanship as you expect of the workshop of Louis Kuppenheim, with remarkable vivid orange enamels on both faces and the the four lateral panels. The main figure is a bird resting in a golden tree, which is made up with multicolor cloisonné technique. As a note, this box can be actually used for presentation cards and is fitted with an integrated mechanical push button. Weight: 125.40 Grams, (80.38 Dwt). Measurements: 59 mm by 84 mm by 15 mm (2.32 x 3.31 x 0.59 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with German marks, the mark for the assay of the .935 silver, the box model number and signed, "DRGM 935 MADE IN GERMANY 2". Mechanical enameled box by Louis Kuppenheim. Very rare box, created during the art deco period in the city of Pforzheim Germany, back in the 1934. This colorful box is closely to mint condition, designed with geometric shapes at the Louis Kuppenheim silversmith workshop. It was crafted with impeccable details in solid .935/.999 silver, with gilded finish in the interior and embellished with classic chiseled borders. Has an exceptional workmanship as you expect of the workshop of Louis Kuppenheim, with a remarkable geometric composition made up with red, blue and black enamels topped with accents in yellow gold. It is fitted with discrete invisible hinges and with one integrated mechanical push button for opening. Weight: 188.20 Grams, (120.64 Dwt). Enameled box by Louis Kuppenheim for Cartier Paris. Very rare box, created during the art deco period in the city of Pforzheim Germany, back in the 1930. This beautiful box was specially commissioned by the Cartier branch in Paris France to the Louis Kuppenheim silversmith workshop. It was crafted with impeccable details in solid .935/.999 silver, with gilded finish in the interior and high polished frames. Has an exceptional workmanship as you expect of the workshop of Louis Kuppenheim, with a remarkable geometric composition made up with in blue and black enamels. It is fitted with nine barrels invisible hinges and a push snap thumb for opening. This box is very rare and involves three big names in their manufacture, such; Cartier, Louis Kuppenheim and Alfred Dunhill. Weight: 128.40 Grams, (82.31 Dwt). Measurements: 83 mm by 58 mm by 12 mm (3.27 x 2.28 x 0.47 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, the maker's mark LK inside an oval cartouche associated to the workshop of Louis Kuppenheim, which is obliterated by the mark AD associated to Alfred Dunhill Paris, twice with the French national mark for the assay of the .935 silver, the case model number, the Cartier serial numbers and signed in full, "CARTIER MADE IN FRANCE STERLING No3277 LK/AD .935". This superb elegant case box is closely to mint condition, is very rare and was carefully crafted at the Louis Kuppenheim workshop in solid .935/.999 silver, with gilt interiors. Exceptional workmanship as you expect of the workshop of Louis Kuppenheim, with remarkable enameled patterns of peacocks feathers on both faces. Embellished around with white enamel frames and the borders with incised and carved panels with flowers. The side parts with black enamel.
