Rare antique sunglasses, 9kt gold, pince nez, cased
About the Item
A fantastic rare pair of Antique, c1910s, Art Deco era pince nez 'nose pinch' oval framed sunglasses.
They are rimless glasses with a 9kt gold chain and ear wire with dark tinted lenses and a nose pinch mechanism to adjust to the nose, the bridge is 9kt gold.
Grey tinted glass oval lenses, slightly magnified though I'm unsure of the strength.
They come in the original glasses case and have a spare ear wire within the case.
Condition: Good used condition overall, used with signs of wear, tiny chip to the bottom of one lense, see photos, general surface wear and ageing.
Approx measurements: 4" total width 1.5" lense width 1.2" lense height 0.7" bridge width
