1990s Geoffrey Beene Vintage Burgundy Alpaca Coat W Matching Strapless Dress
About the Item
This is an absolutely stunning vintage Geoffrey Beene monochromatic dress and coat ensemble in a gorgeous burgundy wool and alpaca fabric. We love vintage Geoffrey Beene pieces and always grab them whenever we come across them. This outfit includes an open front coat that is perfectly on trend - we especially love the black ruffled, pleated grosgrain satin Inserts throughout the lush alpaca fabric. The dress is strapless with wire bust "boning." The inside built in bustier is smaller than the outer fabric so that the strapless dress looks loose on the body but everything is held nicely in place. There is a hook-and-eye closure with a metal zipper down the back center seam. We estimate this outfit to fit a modern day US size 4 but please use the measurements as your guide for the best fit. You can wear each of these pieces as separates as they are each individually beautiful!
