Lilli Ann Edwardian Inspired Lantern Coat

About the Item

Amazing Lilli Ann Edwardian Inspired Lantern Coat in inky black sealskin like wool. Designed to be worn closed with high tufted collar and lantern shaped skirt for for maximum impact. Soft sleek wool with grosgrain trim at waist and on bubble skirt hem. The skirt has been backed in heavy buckrum with stiff stays stitched into the circular seams to maintain the bell shape. Closure down front is with hidden hooks and covered buttons below the waist. Grosgrain bows are secured with snaps. Striking silhouette designed for impact, really unusual Haute Couture inspired design. Satin lined. 1950's USA.
