1950s Black Wool Square-Neck Wiggle Dress by Mr. Mort

About the Item

This vintage little black wiggle dress is so timeless, and SO flattering! It was made in the late 1950s (or early 1960s) by New York label Mr. Mort, who was known for rbeing on the cusp of fashion trends at the time. It features a fitted wiggle dress silhouette, with princess seams creating a fitted bodice. I absolutely adore the square neckline! It has pockets on either side, and zips down the back and at the cuffs. The fabric is not listed but feels like wool; lined on the interior. The Vintage Gold Chain Belt pictured is also available. Measurements: This will work best for a modern size Small or X-Small. Chest: 35” Waist: 26” Sleeves: 22.5” Hips: up to 39.5” Length: 38” down center back Great vintage condition overall, with some minor wear commensurate with age. There are some old seam repairs to the waistband which aren't done perfectly, but on the black it's not very noticeable. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please send a message for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final. @VERYBREEZY — Follow along on Instagram for exclusive access to new vintage arrivals *IF YOU REQUIRE EXPRESS SHIPPING (domestic or international), please contact me for my best quote!
