Avant Garde vintage late 80s GEOFFREY BEENE black silk, lace and purple sequin cocktail dress! Features statement worthy strong shoulder with shoulder pads that could easily be removed, if desired. Super flattering and forgiving fit that looks great on many shapes. POCKETS at each side of the waist. Hundreds of hand-sewn purple sequins along the front and back waist, accented by a metallic black silk lace. Hidden zipper up the back with hook-and-eye detail. Interior bands / support holds everything in place. Couture quality one would expect from this legendary American designer. Fully lined. The perfect timeless little black dress that is perfect for any occasion. Great with heels, flats or boots. In great condition. Made in USA
