Black Fish Scale Sequin Sheath Dress with Draped Ruched Hobble Skirt – XS, 1960s
About the Item
This poured-on wiggle dress attracts serious attention on two fronts: first, its aurora borealis sequins shimmer green and purple to resemble eye-catching fish scales. Second, its draped hobble skirt is ruched perfectly at the derrière for a fabulously bodycon, Marilyn Monroe silhouette. A masterful celebration of the (very small!) female form.
Sleeveless wiggle dress with plunging front and rear neckline. Bodice features all-over black aurora borealis sequins and double princess seams in front for poured-on fit. Faux wrap skirt is gathered at right hip and draped across thighs, then ruched at left side, center back and right side. Rear nylon zipper closure; fully lined in black acetate.
