A member of the iconic Antwerp Six collective, Dries van Noten’s vision of luxury ready-to-wear fashion is intertwined with themes of nature and textile innovation that often result in captivating or even poetic ensembles that reshape notions of the modern. Van Noten’s Fall 2013 collection spun a web of masculine and feminine silhouettes complimented by Art Nouveau motifs mixed with furs and feathers. This tunic is done in silk with a simple scoop neckline transition to dropped shoulders that form a mock cap sleeve. The tunic falls straight from the shoulders to hip level and explodes into a ring of pink ostrich feathers. This tunic can be worn alone as a daring mini dress or paired with a sleek pair of trousers or a skirt to create a stunning ensemble. This tunic can be seen in the featured images as look #36 from that season’s runway.
