Oleg Cassini Nude Rose Gold Bead and Sequin Illusion Evening Gown - US 6, 1990s
About the Item
Achingly similar to Sharon Stone’s nude Bob Mackie gown in “Casino,” this illusion gown covers all the naughty bits with a solid crust of rose gold sequins, silver beads and rhinestone nuggets but leaves the rest exposed by a thin layer of flesh tone silk. With wide shoulders, an hourglass body and a gentle trumpet-flared skirt, it skims the figure like a body stocking but betrays no secrets.
Vintage round neck evening gown with long sleeves, close-fitting body and trumpet hemline. Heavily beaded and sequined across neckline and shoulders, in inverted “V” pattern at front and rear thigh and at plunging illusion bodice; elsewhere sprinkled with silver bugle beads over full surface of gown except sleeves. Keyhole back with hook and eye at rear neck and nylon zipper closure from mid-back to derrière; covered button with looped buttonhole at mid-back. Fully lined in nude acetate from bust to hem, excluding plunging bust line.
