Vintage 1940s evening dress, Satin Brocade
About the Item
A simply stunning vintage late 1940s evening dress.
Made from a very heavy, purple satin Brocade fabric with a swirling floral pattern.
It has long tulip sleeves that fasten at the wrist with press stud fasteners, the neckline is scooped with a wide collar.
The dress is nipped in at the waist with a full skirt, the skirt has a slight train so is longer at the back and this is really flattering.
This is a really beautiful vintage evening dress ready to be worn and enjoyed!
No labels, c1940s, very well made, nice strong fabric.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
