This vintage Christian Lacroix skirt features the most uniquely whimsical print, but the shape makes it quite versatile. Made in the 1990s, it features a print of florals, Eiffel Towers, opera glasses and masks, in a great colorful palette that really pops agains the black. The skirt has a high waist, with a super fitted/pegged shape that tapers towards the knee, and pockets at the hips. The fabric is 100% cotton, but it has a sheen and feels more like silk! This vintage Thierry Mugler bouclé wool jacket and skirt set is giving a very Cher from Clueless vibe. Thierry Mugler and his work have been the subject of countless museum retrospective for a reason: he is responsible for defining the fashion landscape of the late 1980s and early 1990s, with his unabashedly feminine, sensual, borderline-campy perspective.
