A Rare Japanese Imperial Army Officer Hat with Original Metal Box. This rare Japanese Imperial Army officer hat is a stunning example of Japanese military history. It is dated to the early 20th century and is in very good condition with some expected abrasions. The hat is made of black wool and decorated with a gold braid. The hat is signed by the previous owner, and it comes with an original metal box. The hat measures 19 cm (7.5 inches) in width, 22.5 cm (9 inches) in height, and 14 cm (5.5 inches) in depth. It weighs 200 g (0.44 lb) without the box and 720 g (1.6 lb) with the box. The Japanese Imperial Army was the military of the Empire of Japan from 1871 to 1945. It was one of the most powerful militaries in the world during World War II, and it played a major role in the conflict. This hat is a rare and valuable piece of Japanese military history.
