Japanese Dot Designed China Teapot, Taisho Period

About the Item

This piece made in Taisho period is imitation of Longquan ware celadon from the Yuan dynasty in China. The technique of skipping celadon is used. Skipping celadon is a type of celadon with iron-glazed yohen scattered over it. It is an excellent form that combines elegance and ease of use. Creator name is signed on the original box: Toushan.
