Peony - Mu-Dan - Queen of Flowers, the peony is an emblem of wealth and distinction.
Basket of flowers
Basket of flowers, is the emblem of Lan Ts'ai-bo of "The Eight Immortals". Also a symbol of old age.
Eight Buddhist Symbols
Also known as the "Eight Buddhist Treasures".
As a decorative motif, the Eight Buddhist Symbols first appeared on ceramics during the Yuan dynasty when they were introduced from the Tibetan Lamaist art, and were popular decorative elements during the Ming and Qing.
