About the Item
A fine antique Chinese Export porcelain
In the Rose Medallion (Famille Rose) style.
The central cartouche of the bowl depicts a floral scene. Both the interior and exterior walls of the bowl have 6 cartouches which each alternate between scenes of people & scenes of birds with flora.
The space between each cartouche is decorated with elaborate handpainted vines, flowers, insects, animals, and gilding.
Simply a wonderful Rose Medallion tray!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Condition Details:
There is some rubbing and losses to the paint and gilding throughout but especially to the rim. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
