About the Item

Mesmerizing Japanese contemporary museum-quality decorative porcelain box, painstakingly intricately hand-painted in blue underglaze on the inside and in blue and red Set against a stunning globular background in dark blue on the outside , a signed masterpiece by second-generation master porcelain artist of the Imari-Arita region of Japan, highly acclaimed for his painstakingly detailed portrayal of historical scenes and themes combined with intricate geometric patterns and this magnificent piece is a testimony to his mastery in both styles. He exhibits excellence in both underglaze and polychrome overglaze techniques in this breathtaking piece. The rim and base are decorated with his signature intricate pattern to add another layer of elegance to this memorable piece.
