Japanese Antique Old Wooden Mortar / Coffee Table 1868s-1912s Wabisabi Japandi

About the Item

It's an old Japanese mortar. It was used in the Tohoku region of Japan. The material is unknown, but it seems that it was originally black, and it has become a natural expression over time. There is a big crack, but it has been repaired with old iron fittings. You can turn it upside down and use it as an exhibition stand or table. Weight: 38kg
