About the Item

This Ikat textile originates from the Island of Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is hand-woven using naturally dyed yarns via a method passed on through generations amid the Dayak Tribes scattered throughout the island. It features a stunning orange pigment as well as a further array of coloured detailing and distinct tribal patterns. A small section of small holes no more than a millimetre wide highlighted in the last image. Dimensions: Length 102cm x width 77cm.
