About the Item

Japanese Sakiori Obi Sakiori are Textile reuse or recycling. When textiles are no longer able to function in original purpose, textile items are torn into strips and rewoven into Sakiori panels. This Sakiori Obi is a combination of cotton and silk strips that are rewoven into this colorful Obi (Sash) - understated colors include green, purple, dark brown and dashes of orange.
