About the Item
A pair of antique glazed Minton tile panels. This pair have a desirable crazing creating a characterful time worn look. With all their elements combined, they make the perfect decorative architectural panels for a fireplace in the main room of a period property, especially those looking to highlight the elegant Neoclassical style.
Made up of several tiles each panel showcases detailed design in a cream and green mottle glaze with a striking motif in the centre.
Two women centre the panels surrounded by a deep red background, one holds a lyre while a drape flows above the other. Stylised birds and foliage flow to either end of the panels.
