Polychrome Terracotta Angel
About the Item
A polychrome terracotta angel built in fifteen pieces, in the Luca Della Robbia tradition, salvaged from the Southern Hotel in downtown Baltimore, which was demolished in 1917. Celebrated for its rooftop restaurant and music venue, the hotel hosted a who's who of early twentieth century actors, musicians, politicians and other celebrities. This piece is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation.
