Opulent Antique Large Louis XV Style French Fire Screen

The most spectacular large fire screen with original high-low gilding. The remarkably detailed surround with expert carving with sunflowers acanthus leaves and dolphin base. Truly incredible embellishments all-over and exact on both sides. The centre panel in a costly yellow gold woven silk damask. Artist-signed on the lower corner, Maurice Michon.
