Antique Georgian Limestone Bullseye Fire Mantel
About the Item
A compact antique 19th Century Georgian limestone bullseye fireplace. The bullseyes have been hand-carved into the smooth limestone under either side of the mantel, while the jambs demonstrate elegant downward grooves. Made from Cotswold limestone, this fireplace is over 200 years old and has certainly stood the test of time. It would looking stunning in both modern and period settings due to its simple design and neutral colour; perhaps a countryside property or period townhouse.
