An elegant nineteenth century English fossiliferous chimneypiece in Plymouth Black limestone, of simple form with elongated corbels, carved in native limestone from the Radstock/Pomphlett mines of Plymouth, with an unusual abundance of fossils. Dimensions: 119.5cm (47") High, 167cm (65¾") Wide, 26.5cm (10½") Deep, Opening width 92 cm x 97.5 cm high, Outside jamb to jamb 139 cm
