Rare Pair of 19th Century Cast Iron Garden Planters

About the Item

A rare pair of 19th Century cast iron garden planters of rectangular form with canted corners, surmounted with beautiful foliate, scroll and stylised shell motifs. Raised over everted rim with gadroon detail above panelled body with centred plaques adorned with elegantly scrolling foliate in relief framed with applied flowerhead paterae. Supported on shaped platform base with a further arrangement of stylised shell and foliate motifs, terminating on outscrolling foot. Price is Per Pair.
