Round, open top Nantucket lighthouse basket in woven bamboo with oak stays, a slender carved oak handle with lollipop ends, and a round, hard wood bottom plate with two concentric scribed circles. The partial label on the under side of the basket identifies this as the work of Davis Hall. American, Nantucket, circa 1880. Dimensions: 10" Diameter x 4-1/2" H (plus 5" tall handle)
