19th Century Japanese Painted Imari Shall Bowl with Mounts on Bronze Dore Stand

About the Item

Place this antique Imari bowl on your entry buffet for a small dose of oriental design. Crafted in Japan, circa 1860, and circular in shape, the exotic porcelain vide poche sits on an ornate Louis XV gilt bronze stand. The shallow, ceramic bowl features hand painted floral decor with gilt accents, and is topped at the neck with decorative ormolu foliage mounts. The dish is in excellent condition with rich patinated gilt finish. Measures: 9.5" diameter 5.5" height.
