Alessandro Albrizzi Lidded Lucite Box

About the Item

A vintage lucite lidded box, the top being clear, the bottom being a dark khaki color. The box was designed by Alessandro Albrizzi in the 1970's. Baron Alessandro Rubin de Cervin Albrizzi (1934 - 1994) was a photographer and writer who chronicled the gardens of Venice, Florence and New York. In 1968 he opened one of his world wide shops at One Sloan Square in London. His line of home furnishings became very popular among the jet set. Albrizzi died in Venice at 59 years old. The box is approximately 3 3/4 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The bottom has an "Albrizzi / New York" decal on the bottom.
