Erhard & Söhne Art Nouveau lidded pot in patinated brass. Germany, early 20th century. Beautiful art nouveau lidded pot made by Erhard & Söhne in Germany somewhere in the first two decades of the 20th century. Elegant and stylish floral decor and great patination. Rich in style and color, this is a very distinct piece which will attract attention when placed in your interior. Versatile piece which can be used as a decorative item, but also could be used as a practical lidded pot for storing valuables. Erhard & Söhne is a known German maker of brass, copper and metal decorative pieces. Later on they became involved in other industries too, most famously by initiating a versatile agriculture vehicle called Unimog which from 1953 onwards is produced by Mercedes-Benz. The company still exists today. Great vintage condition with a desirable patination.
