About the Item
Splendid vintage box made in Italy during the 70s signed, as readable on the sticker, by the Italian designer of luxury and opulence Tommaso Barbi.
This vintage box is large, 28cm long by 22cm deep, made up of two bodies in glazed ceramic and can be opened thanks to a brass knob incorporated on the cap.
The peculiarity of this Mid Century Box is certainly in the faux onyx marble decoration which creates a splendid contrast with the shiny black enamel and the thin golden frame.
The box has a very elegant pagoda shape which recalls the Chinese cippendhale style,
The box is in good vintage condition, with minimal signs of wear and age visible in the photos.
