Small Black Amethyst Glass Vanity Box Attributed to Moser

About the Item

A fine black amethyst glass lidded vanity box. Attributed to Moser, the piece features gilt bronze mounts and is in lovely condition. The box dates to the Turn of the Century, circa 1900, and would have been manufactured in Bohemia (modern day Czech Republic). The box is in lovely condition with only some minor wear to the underside, which is standard for glass of this age. A fine piece suitable for use in a bathroom holding cotton buds or cotton tips, or could be placed on a bedside cabinet. Measures - 10.5cm H x 6cm W
