Antique English Regency Miniature Apprentice Chest Drawers Flame Mahogany 19Ct
About the Item
Beautiful English Regency Miniature two over three graduated drawer flame mahogany Chest of Drawers of outstanding quality and workmanship and compact proportions. Circa 1800-20.
This exquisite and rare sized chest with oak lined drawers, complete with its original turned ebony pull handles with Mother of Pearl detailing, ending on a very ornate lower central frieze and bracket feet, each side with similar detail, see images.
Condition: Good condition with nice surface patination and wonderful flame figuring, with no losses anywhere, all drawers inclusive of individual locks which pull out smoothly, one key only is available.
Note: Images show a slight “dip” to top surface, this is caused by camera fault. This is not an imperfection as the chest is perfectly flat on top when viewed by hand.
