About the Item

Rare Large Swedish Stone Box, ca 1790-1830 The patina is remarkable, and you can see fossils in the stone. The craftsmanship is also incredible, considering that it was made without any of our modern tools. It was most likely used as a tobacco jar. Made of Öland limestone. Heigth: 19 cm/7.4 inch Diameter: 12.5 cm/4.9 inch
