Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Candelabra 244

About the Item

A pair of sterling silver candelabra design #244 by Georg Jensen in 1918. These candelabra showcase a two-armed structure adorned with artistic leaves and berries, culminating in a prominent fir cone finial, giving rise to their name – the Fir Cone Candelabra. The central element displays an openwork floral pattern with an oxidized center beam, harmoniously supported by a tiered round foot. The intricacy of this design demands the expertise of a highly skilled silversmith. What adds to their uniqueness is their remarkable age, both bearing matching hallmarks from the period between 1925 and 1932. Specifications: Dimensions: Each candelabrum stands at 8 1/4 inches in height with a span of 9 inches (21cm, 22.7cm). Total weight for the pair: 90 ounces (2.51kg). Hallmarks: Period-specific Georg Jensen hallmarks dating from 1925 to 1932.
