"Empire gilt bronze vase clock circa 1810 Attributed To Claude Galle" Beautiful bronze vase pendulum with original mercury gold gilding, splendid carving details. Paris movement with suspension in silk thread (new), strikes the hours and halves, remarkable balance with butterfly. The dial has been restored by a specialist craftsman, bronze hands, key available, working mechanism. Attributed to the clockmaker Claude Galle established in Paris at the end of the 18th century, several models of the same style left his workshops.

    Rewired: The eight-days going movement. It strikes the hour and half and hour on it’s bell. The clock comes complete with its pendulum, key and bell. Repaired: The clock is in excellent and perfect working condition. In addition, it was recently cleaned and serviced by a professional clockmaker who specializes in maintaining museums.
