19th Century Victorian silver large lidded inkstand, of rectangular casket form, with a hindged lid, engraved with Rococo scrolls and foleage, with vacant cartooches, resting on four cast scroll feet, inside mounted wit twin cut glass and silver mounted removable inkwells, a removable wick burner a vacant compartment for writing quills.
Hallmarked English silver, London, year 1850 (p), Maker's mark R.H (Robert Hennell).
