Unusual Antique Venetian Micro Mosaic Photograph / Picture Frame, circa 1900
About the Item
A charming and unusual Italian Micro-Mosaic photograph or picture frame with its "folded" corner in the top right-hand side.
The metal backing, folding easel stand, fine rope trip around the outside of the frame and surrounding the aperture are all intact with the original gilded finish.
Excellent condition dating to circa 1900, late Victorian in era. The overall size measuring 5" x 3 7/8" with the glazed aperture measuring 2 3/8" square.
