  • Unique & Handcrafted Enormous Bronze Bust Sculpture of Dutch Painter Rembrandt
    Located in Lisse, NL
Rare, very large and stunning bronze bust of Holland's most famous painter. When we first saw this truly large, great looking and very well made bronze sculpture of Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606-1669) we immediately knew we had to have it. Also, because bronze sculptures of Rembrandt really are a rare find. We have searched the worldwide web and we learned that there is not another one of this size to be found anywhere in the world and smaller sculptures of Rembrandt are hard to find as well. Judging from the material, the patina and the way it was hand-crafted we date this work of art to 1960-1980 and this bust must have been made for either a private collector, an art institution/museum or perhaps for the owner of a gallery. Anyone who understands what it takes to create a bronze sculpture of this size and quality knows that this Rembrandt bust...
