Pair Large Size Old Paris Cobalt Blue Mantle Vases with Classical Greek Profiles
About the Item
This striking pair of French cobalt blue Old Paris mantle vases feature center medallions with classic Greek profiles framed in a contrasting black background. Gold gilt highlights outline the medallions as well as the intricately scalloped tops of the vases. Gold leaves form the handles with tendrills terminating at the bottom forming addional leaf decoration. Possibley purchased during someones "Grand Tour," these would be a stunnning addition to any mantle or bookcase.
