Gilt Bronze Champleve and Capodimonte Porcelain Pair of Small Urns

About the Item

This is a pair of Champleve and Capodimonte porcelain small urns. It depicts a pair of urns with colorful champleve pattern of flowers and scrolls at the neck, shoulder and feet area. The body of the urn is made of porcelain and decorated with a relief of a pair of cherubs playing musical instruments. Around them, there are several hand painted gilt scrolls and bright colored patterns with stars. A gilt bronze crown shaped border adorn the upper top. Scrolls of acanthus leaves enhance the handles at each side. The urn is supported by an octagonal shaped bronze base that is screwed to it.
