Unique contemporary decorative porcelain vase, intricately hand painted in vivid blue and green on a beautiful tall body, a signed work by second-generation master porcelain artist of the Imari-Arita region of Japan, highly acclaimed for his painstakingly detailed portrayal of historical scenes and themes.
The artist boasts his interpretation of owls freely roaming in a forest. Owl in Japanese is "fukuro" and since "fuku" that is part of the name means good fortune and luck, owl became the symbol of good fortune.
