About the Item
Offering this Muller Freres Art Deco art glass vase featuring red-orange glass mottled at rim and base with burnt umber and black coloring. Hand etched on the underside "Muller Fres Luneville". This vase is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage observed and is free of any water residue or damage on the interior. Please note, this is a Period Muller Freres art glass piece made in the late 1920s, it is not a modern reproduction. Desirable color, large size.
Muller Frères were French glassmakers located in Lunéville, France. They were renowned for producing art nouveau glassworks such as vases and lampshades. The Muller family originally came from Alsace. Some members of the family worked together with Émile Gallé before starting their own business. Muller Freres ceased production in 1934.
