Edwardian Glass Decanter Square Cut and Etched, circa 1900
About the Item
This is a good cut-glass crystal decanter or wine carafe, with a square shape having cut and etched decorative squares decoration and with a cut glass stopper, made of heavy lead glass, and dating to Edwardian England, circa 1900.
This decanter is made of clear lead glass. It has a very attractive square shape to the body, with cut squares that have been etched to the centres producing a very attractive decoration. The pontil to the base has been ground out.

The decanter is made from Lead glass with a soft grey color and is heavy weighing about 1.8 kg unpacked.
