Early 20th Century Mettlach Stoneware Punch Bowl

About the Item

Early 20th century Mettlach stoneware punch bowl with undertray & cover. German works, #2087 with full US & German patent marks. Renaissance Revival style with German towns of note for drinking and old German phrases on stand playing on drinking themes. Buff, putty, white & blue colors. Fine condition except a cover ring repair, visible on one side in particular. Stand: 16 1/2" dia.; Tureen: 14 1/4" over handles; 16 1/8" high overall.
