Footed Staffordshire Bowl

About the Item

English Staffordshire footed bowl , the rim has a slight serpentine shape and ''pie crust'' gilded edge with ''pinched '' corners , the upper border with alternating pattern of gilded arabesques and volutes on a cobalt background and stylized flowers and foliate , the main body with stylized flowers in coral and cobalt alongside stalks of bamboo. The exterior decoration is similar to the interior , the bowl is raised on gilded paw feet
