Antique Japonisme Moriage Dragon Ware Cup in Black, 1920s
About the Item
A beautiful artisanal handcrafted porcelain Dragon ware teacup. This set features a moriage dragon design. Created from slip and applied around the body of the cup, the eye-catching dragon is hand-painted in a gorgeous blue, back, and gray with hints of red. We believe the eyes are decorated with deep blue glass beads. Both the handle and the rim are hand-painted in 22-karat gold. This cup is from Japan and is marked at the bottom in red.
