bud vase 003

About the Item

bud vase 003- A hand thrown simple vessel, offering a home to one flower. This piece is made with black stoneware and paired with a crackled clear glaze. The piece has a warm feeling to it, and offers a sculpture look to your space. Fully glazed interior, partially glazed exterior. Inspired by a dear family friend, who wanted a custom bud vase in remembrance of her late mother who always had one flower at her bedside. I now have fallen in love with the concept of a "bud vase" and the feeling I get when looking at one flower resting. Water safe.
